Nice sun terrace, good business facilities. Shame the double bed was so uncomfortable for two. Fun acrobatics required to sleep comfortably.

Lovely garden, free parking, delicious breakfast. Just wish I could have seen myself properly in the tiny bathroom mirror.

We had a fantastic experience at this nice hotel overlooking the garden. the location was marvelous, close to everything including the bus station. - Found Lucky Fort Restaurant nearby and enjoyed dining there several times. - Really liked the seating area, writing desk, and ironing set in the room. - the beds were soft, and the bathroom met expectations.

our recent stay in galle was great, but old dutch house exceeded all expectations. the host went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, even bringing us hot water and toast when we weren't feeling well. the well-priced menu, comfortable beds, and clean bathroom made our stay even better. highly recommend!

The hotel is conveniently located near the old Fort and the railway station. the staff was very accommodating, providing complimentary wake-up calls and ironing services. - the central location of the hotel is close to the beach, which we really enjoyed. - We had a great time exploring Galle City district during our 3-night stay.

The location of Old Dutch House was perfect for exploring the area. The room was clean and the hot water worked well. I especially enjoyed the little table outside where I could eat and relax. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. Despite a few minor issues with the beds and ants, overall I would recommend this hotel.

The value for money at this family-run guesthouse was exceptional. The rooms may be simple, but they had a cozy charm, reminiscent of a Scandinavian sailor's home. The location inside the fort was perfect, allowing us to enjoy picturesque walks on the ramparts and experience the lively atmosphere of the evening street food scene. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and welcoming.

Food for breakfast could have been better, but it was still sufficient.

The hosts were friendly and always available to provide advice and recommendations. They even served delicious homemade fruit drinks. The location was excellent, right in the heart of the city with easy access to transportation and attractions. The guesthouse also had a lovely garden where you could relax.

The fixtures and fittings in the room were quite old and worn out, reflecting the low price of the accommodation. The bathroom was not very clean and needed a thorough scrub.
